Dogwoods adorn the banks of beautiful Lake Chatuge. Boats buzz on the lake as you view the stunning view from picnic tables.
Tulips put on a colorful show at Hamilton Gardens.
Thousands of rhododendrons and azaleas burst forth like rainbows.
My sister and I enjoyed touring Hamilton Gardens very much on Easter afternoon. What a perfect, sunny day to get outside and savor God's creation after attending an uplifting service at Pilgrim Baptist Church that morning.

How very pretty! Wonderful to see you and your sis enjoying such a lovely garden. My sister who lives in KC, has friend interested in moving to Hiawasee. I will have to pass along this link.
Thanks for your well wishes on our move.
Wow---I've never heard of those gardens --but I'm going to put them on my list of places to visit...
Are all of the Rhody's blooming already?? Ours don't bloom til about mid-May....
Fantastic group of pictures and what a great Easter you all had.
Hugs,
Betsy
What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. You got some really nice photos at the gardens. I clicked on all of them for a better view, and they are all just beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with your readers. :)
This looks so lovely!! Aren't spring colors just the best? We drove home Sunday from church along a mountain road, and I've never seen as many dogwoods in my life.
So nice you and your sister could make this trip together.
What a beautiful post Brenda. I love these photos. I love visiting Hamilton Gardens. I bet you both had such an enjoyable time. Those flowers are so gorgeous this time of year. I'm so glad you had a nice Easter and the weather was perfect. Thanks for sharing.
truly gorgeous blossoms!
What beautiful photos, Brenda! This looks like a lovely place to visit!
The Rhody's have not all bloomed yet. They were budding on Easter when we visited the gardens. Due to several cold snaps, it has caused these flowers to bloom later than usual. If we can get a few days of sunshine, I think the Rhody's will bloom very soon.
I appreciate very much all of my blogger friends who comment on my blog.
Beautiful pictures! I love dogwood and rhododendron.
I must go over and visit the Gardens soon and see the Rhody's blooming. Your photos are gorgeous, Brenda Kay.
Brenda, thank you for giving us such beautiful photos of this wondrous place. I hope to go. Very nice!
Thank you again,
Rana
