Fields of the Wood

Fields of the Wood is a Biblical Theme Park at 10000 NC 294, Murphy, NC (828-494-7855).  It's an awesome place to visit especially during Easter.  A live Passion Play will be held in the Park at 6:00 p.m. on April 19, 2014 by the Bethlehem Baptist Church from Madisonville, TN.  This group is outstanding!

Other  Easter activities include an Easter egg hunt with 5,000 eggs at l:00 p.m. and Great Gospel music from 2-6 p.m. by the BABBS, The Jamersons, GoodNews Revival, The Land Family, The Lighthouse Church (Charleston, TN), drama team and more.

Fields of the Wood is the place to visit on Saturday, April 19, 2014 to celebrate Easter.

The Ten Commandments are displayed on a hillside at Fields of the Wood.

This chapel overlooks the Biblical Theme Park at Fields of the Wood.

These crosses remind us of the real meaning of Easter that Jesus Christ died to save us from our sins and that He Lives forevermore!

Here's the Psalm Wall at Fields of the Wood.

Here's the Empty Tomb!  Jesus Christ is the resurrection and life!

I hope all of my blogger friends have a blessed Easter!

Let us celebrate the living Lord during this Holy Season!

Hello on a gorgeous, spring day in TENNESSEE. Wow---after the long and bitter winter we had this year, Spring is even more inviting and lovely.

We have passed the Fields of the Woods MANY times ---going from home to areas in NC.. But we have never stopped... Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.

We are now home 'again' --after our 5th trip since the end of February.... Seems as if we visited five different states --although the trips weren't planned for that reason... ha... BUT--as I always say, it's great to be home... I did publish a blog post today--so check it out when you have time. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,
Betsy

This looks like an awesome place to visit and remember the true meaning of Easter.

I love your header picture and couldn't help but smile at the two little violets in the lower corner; not as showy as the tulips, but just as pretty.

What a neat place to visit. I'd never heard of it before so I really enjoyed your photo tour, Brenda. The church that does the play is just about twenty or so miles from where I live...small world. :)
Hope you have a great weekend!

Your tulips in the header are beautiful, and here you are showing another place I'd love to visit! I had never even heard that there was such a place. How wonderful to see a place giving glory to whom it belongs!

Wow, what a great place to visit at Easter or at anytime! Thanks for sharing.I also love your header. The three crosses remind me of the three crosses that are found throughout the land. I blogged about them here a few years back. http://janetsmart.blogspot.com/2010/02/three-crosses.html
