Christmas Presents
My great-niece, Reagan, and her Grandma Barbara
Little hands rip the paper
from the Christmas presents,
Reagan jumps up and down with glee.
Decorations sparkle on the tree,
surprises tumble from boxes,
little hands rip paper.
The adults laugh and clap,
a puppy sings merry tunes
from the Christmas presents.
For awhile peace reigns,
we celebrate with childish eyes,
Reagan jumps up and down with glee.

A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS POEM AND A SPECIAL LITTLE GIRL. LOVE THE DECORATIONS.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas. I enjoyed your poem and photos.
Lovely poem, Brenda. I'm sure it will always be a treasure to your great niece.
Thank you for sharing so many of your writings with us this year.
Merry Christmas to you!
Merry Christmas! Your Christmas blog is outstanding and well designed. The colors and border are very pleasing to the eye. The child and her grandmother set the mood for family fun and the poem that follows proves it.

Reagan sure is a pretty girl. Your poem sounds old fashioned, just the way I wish Christmas could still be. Love the pictures too. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.
What a sweet picture of The little girl and her Grandma. Merry Christmas to you.
How sweet your great niece looks! Love your Christmas decorations! Your written verse is always wonderful!
This is a beautiful Christmas poem! I agree with Henny, I wish Christmas could be like it used to be. But then, maybe I'm just too old and cranky to understand all the hustle and bustle of the present times. I'm wishing you and yours a most wonderful Christmas. And, thank you so much for your comments this past year.
Christmas is all about children! Thank you for this beautiful post.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Such a sweet poem, Brenda. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
